More Rev

Rev vs. 4-twenty

Jared and I got our hands on one of the first Rev’s.  We’re pretty ‘Revved’ up with it.  Here’s a little video of it in action:  Rev Video 8mb and a side-by-side comparison to see what’s changed from the 4-Twenty.

REV

looping the REV
1st time in the NEW REV today. Out in the cold on the Delaware river at Scudders falls NJ. The REV was a lot of fun, and trying to loop without getting my head wet seemed like a good way to stay warm! Read the rest of this entry »

Pucon, Chile

Day one on the lower Tres Saltos drop

tres-saltos.jpg

I have been in Pucon for two weeks now. It is one of the best creeking destinations I could imagine. Our friend and local river guru Rodrigo has taken us on the best biggest runs around. Our trip started out on day one with a 60 footer, day three a 70 footer, and day five a 50. The runs have been just as quality as the drops around here. It has been an awesome start to a great trip. All of our adventures will be airing in Feb on National Geographic International and Rush HD. Here´s a little teaser of the trip. More quality photos when you Read the rest of this entry »

Veracruz, MX Photo Dump

Here are some shots of Ian Garcia and myself on our trip to Veracruz, Mexico. We had a solid group and managed to hit up most all of the sections on the Alseseca. The Alseseca River is one of the most amazing class 5 rivers I could imagine. Also included are shots from the Xico River. First shot is me on Trucha Falls Alseseca.

All Rev’d Up

I was lucky enough to get my hands on the first Prototype of Pyranha’s new play-thing, the Rev, just in time for a trip to sample the very best of the North East England’s surf, had so much fun, ran out of time and had to get photos on the river in the dark!

Pre-Halloween Gift…Inner City Strife

The weather gods smiled brightly over the northeast last weekend when Inner City Strife wave came in. The rain didn’t quite hit the the right spots for the steep stuff to come in, but we had a great wave to surf as a fall back plan.
