The Climax Wave

While hanging out in Idaho we heard about the Climax wave on the Main Payette. With a brief description from some local guides on how to get there we drove along the quiet Main Payette till we found some whitewater. After a couple U turns we found it, a really nice looking green wave with …

Pyranha Nano Review

A few thoughts on the new Pyranha Nano. I will start off by admitting that I wasn’t convinced by the Nano initially. Not by the concept, or by the original prototype during testing. Terms like sport creeker and freeride boat sound a bit too much like an attempt to appeal to the skiing and mountain bike demographic, …

NANO!

Check out this video Chris Stafford and I put together, with help filming from Graham Seiler and Isaac Levinson. The Nano is such a fun boat. With no other boats like it on the market, this boat is destined to excel. It does it all from River running, playing, creeking, and it’s even perfect for …

Futaleufú love!

I was starting to feel good in the water, confident, stronger and less worried about injuring myself again. Mid January we packed our stuff and started the drive down south to the mighty Futaleufú in Patagonia.   Futa is definitely the place to be right now, the perfect place to heal up completely and enjoy …

Nano Review

Graham Seiler rollin into Frankenstein on the Green River So I will start out by saying that I was a big fan of the Ammo.  Now I know that the Ammo had it’s issues.  It was very edgy, deep high knees,  and not really that fast, but I still liked it’s down river freestyle capabilities. …

SAS Hurley Rodeo 2012

After many years of cancellations and disappointing waterlevels, this year’s Hurley Rodeo was back with full force. The River gods smiled on us, and there were perfect waterlevels: Hurley Weir was on three gates. Kayakojacko put great deal of effort into organising the event, and there was a full program. An open event counting towards …
