A tough boof on the Riñinahue.

Still down here in Chile making the most of low water. A group of us headed south from Pucon en route to the Futaleufu to hang out and kayak for the remainder of our stay here in Chile. On the way we ran the Salto del Nilahue and got a possible 1st descent of 2 drops on the Riñinahue near by. Read the rest of this entry »

Looking good in the Rev!

Last weekend there was a big exhibition show in Munich – all about outdoor, caravans, sports… I was asked together with a friend to give some little freestyle shows in the pool of the water sports section there with our new Revs. The worked amazingly well in the flatwater, the loops were quite easy to control, heaps of fun! We actually had quite a lot of spectators, even though we made them wet all the time…

The past 3 weeks our team has been traveling around Patagonia seeking out some of the best whitewater on the planet. The weather has been perfecto and the rivers are la mismo. Our group, at one point of 8, now down to 5, spent a week on the Rio Futaleufu enjoying world renowned big water class 4-5, then spending some time across the border to the east in Argentina kayaking beautiful pool drop creeking, and the occasional park n hucks have been scaring the shitz out of us! Hitting the River After The Rain

Well after lots of rain here in the UK I decided to give my Rev a little rest and get out in my Burn for a change. As ever we had plans to try something new but the water wasn’t quite in the right place so we ended up on the Upper Tees but with plenty of water.

More Storm Hole sessions

While the other boys headed to warmer climates, I’ve been enjoying the relatively mild winter closer to home.  Storm hole is one of my favorite places to play, the Rev has been perfect for it, and the light in the evenings there… well, I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
