Tribe Rider of the Year Entry from team paddler Jonny Meyers
Right on everyone! If you haven’t heard about the Rider of the Year competition put on by Tribe Riders you should check out their website at: http://www.rideroftheyear.org/home.html Rider of the Year is basically the Golden Globe of the kayaking world and awards the most impressive paddlers of the year in a variety of categories. This is the second year for this competition and the categories include Best Trick (Mens/Womens), Best Line,
Best Drop (Mens/Womens), Best Downriver Freestyle, Best Carnage, Best Film of the Year, Honey Badger Award (For straight badasses), Expedition of the Year, and of course Rider of the Year (the one paddler who GETS IT DONE). Anyway, I wanted to post my video entry for Best Down River Freestyle. Its a Back Pan-am launch at the M-wave in Colorado. If Any of you have any footage worthy of any of the catagories mentioned above, I encourage you to visit the website and send in your footy!
