Dubbed “Pandoras” box in the guide book because of its secrecy, known as “Bakers Box” to locals. Bakers/Pandoras Box is one of the most beautiful places to kayak in Colorado.
Sheer granite walls and deep continuous class five rapids make this run uncharacteristic of most Colorado creeks

Jeb Selby is the man to stay with in Durango. After taking us down Pandoras Box the next morning he took the three of us up in an airplane for an aerial tour of Durango. We got some really cool shots of Pandoras Box and some of other nearby runs.
