Oregon Cup
This drop is the first on Canyon Creek in the Oregon Cup. I took 4th in the Extreme Race. Josh Bectel took Second in Extreme and 1st in the boatercross to give him the overall win. I had to miss out on the boatercross so I had no overall ranking. Fun event hopefully more people will come out next year.

Landslide changes money drop + Ammo Video
A landslide has drastically changed the waterfall known as Money Drop. The drop is on Rock Creek in Stevenson WA, it was first run by Trip Jennings and LJ Groth. The landslide is nearly taking houses off of the cliff but the new Mini Money Drop looked to perfect to let go unrun. A few rocks were falling off of the cliff while we were there. After running the drop I quickly got out of the canyon to to avoid any more potential landslide action.

The Ammo is Magic
About three months back I was talking with Jim Hagar and he was talking up the Ammo like crazy. At the time I thought that the boat was kinda odd and I was unsure where I would really want to use it. Well as the Spring run-off starts to kick off in BC, the Ammo is maybe the most sought after boat in the quiver. It does so many things well and has made some of our local runs that are not that fun in a playboat or a creek boat ultra fun. This boat has so much to offer!

Creek Playin with the Ammo
Rivers are flowing nicely in the Northwest and staying at consistant levels. Been trying to keep things interesting by taking the Ammo on some class V. I have been impressed how solid it is and how well you can throw it around. Big loops for sure!

Between duty and the search for water in France
What can you do, if you had to write your thesis, but really wanted to go out and paddle?! Just do both! After spending hours in the copyshop, I went to France, visited my twin sister, studied during the day and went playboating on Hawai sur Rhone in the evening. What a faszinating wave!
After two weeks friends of mine came and we spent the following time kayaking in the Jura and Pyrenees. We weren`t lucky with the waterlevels, but fortunately we had our climbing gear with us. So we mixed low water runs with days of climbing and ended up having a really good time.
