A truly forgiving, high volume River Runner and Creeking kayak that has such a predictable ride it will keep you inspired to get back out on the water and progress from your very first days to long into your paddling life.
Developed from the World leading Burn, but with softer and more forgiving edges vs the edge and extreme responsiveness of the Burn.
With a remarkably stable hull, softened edge profile and generous rocker, the Karnali puts your mind at ease and allows you to concentrate on the river ahead rather than what's happening underneath you. Yet there's still fantastic performance potential that's only available in a semi planing hull such as on the Karnali.
High knee, and low hip cockpit combing with Pyranha's key hole cockpit and new lower seat position gives great comfort for hours in the kayak, and makes the Karnali especially easy to roll.
Helping further with your peace of mind, the Karnali comes with the latest outfitting and safety innovations connecting you with the kayak whilst paddling your favourite run or tackling your first or latest big mission abroad.

Having paddled many different boats over the years the Karnali feels like an old friend
Reviewer: Darren Clarkson-King
Its not a race machine and it lacks the finesse of a fine tuned slalom design but it does the job. On technical and big volume water it is solid reliable and dependable. I can load it with multi day gear and its performance doesn't suffer. I can paddle into a rapid knowing that the boat will cope with all that comes. Knowing that the edges will not catch and flip me, knowing the tail will not get knocked off line. Knowing that the boat is only limited by my skills. Not my skills limited by the boat. From class 2 to class 5, from coaching to expeditions. Its great to have that solid friend back with me.
Karnali - Test & Technik
Reviewer: Kanu Magazin DE

Karnali - A Joy To Paddle
Reviewer: Adam at Granola Paddler
Pyranha has managed to maintain many of the best features of the successful Burn / Everest lineage, but redesigned for paddlers who want a soft, forgiving edge. The Karnali is stable, fast, and nimble; resurfaces predictably and rolls incredibly easily. It's softer chine makes for a boat that will suit everyone from beginners to Class V junkies. Anyone who is looking for the forgiveness of a displacement hull and appreciates the advantages of a semi-planing hull will undoubtedly find the Karnali a joy to paddle.

I have been very impressed and love this boat for everything from low volume creeking to big water. The combination of speed, comfort and a design that allows for high performance and precision with being unpredictable makes the Karnali the ideal boat for almost all situations.
