We headed to the area for the weekend to see what paddling we could find. The group was a great mix of people, Team Pyrahna paddlers Per Christian Pedersen and Ric Moxon, as well as Mark Burton, Morton Bergsland, Olav H\u00c3\u00a5vik and Paula Pridham.<\/p>\n<p>First of all we all headed over to the most classic run in Norway &#8211; Homerun on the M\u00c3\u00a5r River.\u00c2\u00a0The section consists of 5 waterfalls within about less than a kilometre, and is a must see for any visitor to this area!<\/p>\n<p>\u00c2<\/p>\n<div><a title=\"Rick Moxon on Homerun\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pyranha.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/dsc_02381.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"attachment wp-att-3530\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pyranha.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/dsc_02381.jpg\" alt=\"Rick Moxon on Homerun\" width=\"359\" height=\"540\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"imageframe centered\">\n<div class=\"imageframe centered\">\n<div class=\"imagecaption\">Ric Moxon on Homerun<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>After that we headed to the G\u00c3\u00b8yst River, which is a great class IV-V run, with\u00c2\u00a0a small waterfall (shown in the picture), and some interesting slides at the end.<\/div>\n<div>\u00c2<\/div>\n<div>\u00c2<\/div>\n<div><a title=\"Ric on the G\u00c3\u00b8yst\" href=\"https:\/\/www.pyranha.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/dsc_0264.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"attachment wp-att-3531\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pyranha.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/dsc_0264.jpg\" alt=\"Ric on the G\u00c3\u00b8yst\" width=\"500\" height=\"332\" \/><\/a>\u00c2<\/div>\n<div>\n<div class=\"imageframe centered\">\n<div class=\"imagecaption\">The G\u00c3\u00b8yst<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\u00c2<\/div>\n<div>After birthday celebrations on the Saturday night for Paula, we headed to the Austbygd\u00c3\u00a5i, which starts of gently and gets gradually more interesting as you head down the river.
