It goes from flat and foamy, to tall and green by the end of the tide cycle. Its&#8217;\u00c2\u00a0ocean waters are the perfect\u00c2\u00a0temperature,\u00c2\u00a0its surrounded by rugged mountains, and wildlife is more abundant than humans.\u00c2\u00a0These, among others, are the reasons the Pyranha van\u00c2\u00a0ends up there every summer.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_13741\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pyranha.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=13741\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-13741\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13741\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-13741\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pyranha.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/IMG_0484-e1348249605148-300x145.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"145\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pyranha.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/IMG_0484-e1348249605148-300x145.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.pyranha.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/IMG_0484-e1348249605148-1024x496.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-13741\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Skook\u00c2\u00a0scenery<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I&#8217;ve spent the\u00c2\u00a0last 2 summers living in the van with Craig and Dave, however last year\u00c2\u00a0I was unable to go because\u00c2\u00a0I didnt have a\u00c2\u00a0passport\u00c2\u00a0so\u00c2\u00a0I spent the week living in Washington in\u00c2\u00a0a tent while it rained non-stop.\u00c2\u00a0This year I was determined to make the trip and\u00c2\u00a0experience Skook for the first time.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_13746\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.pyranha.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=13746\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-13746\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13746\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-13746\" src=\"https:\/\/www.pyranha.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/photo-300x224.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"224\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pyranha.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/photo-300x224.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.pyranha.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/photo-1024x764.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-13746\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">where is this state called BC?<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Dave had gotten hurt earlier in the summer\u00c2\u00a0and he was still at home mending his broke shoulder so that meant we were down a man.
