Why Kayaking and the LPS are Awesome (As if You Needed an Article to Tell You!)

The Ladies Paddle Symposium 2015 is coming up this weekend, and some last minute places have just opened up; if you’re interested, please call 07737 040 785. Here are some words from Susanna Rickard about last year’s event! I hadn’t realised a jaw could really, physically drop until Fran read out my name as winner of a …

Doin’ it for the girls.

Recently the Pyranha Van took two of it’s lady coaches (Me – Fran Kohn and P&H paddler and coach Kate Duffus ) and a load of demo boats and headed up to Bonny Scotland for the (mostly) annual Scottish Women’s Paddling Symposium.

Drought conditions on the Wye.

Amid nationwide ‘drought’ conditions we drove through the rain on Friday evening down through Wales and England to our destination for this ‘nearly-summer’ weekend. Playboating Coaching with Flowfree in France

Here are a few pictures from this summers Playboating course in France. Water levels were not that great but we made the best of it and alot of fun was had. Sadly we didn’t get any photos of Lowri’s Standing-up-on-the-wave-attempt, its safe to say she failed and got pretty wet!!

Roadtripping in Italy

The Pyranha Team van has had a great start to the European paddling season, roadtripping round Italy and Switzerland, supporting events and competing in races. Matt Bostock and I were the ones tasked with kicking off what is shaping up to be a very busy summer!

Top Tips for working in Chile.

After doing 2 seasons living and working in Chile and seeing the popularity of the place increase dramatically for paddlers, I thought I would write a helpful blog for all those hoping to go out there and do the same. So here are my top  tips for working as a safety kayaker/raft guide in Pucon, …
